Tom's Trust Supports

Team Up is a social venture charity that runs a voluntary leadership programme.

The programme trains exceptional role models to tutor children from low income backgrounds, in order to help them reach their academic potential.
They are currently working with 5 Primary schools and 22 Secondary schools in the London area, providing weekly sessions for both Maths and English to children who need and benefit from individual tuition. Most of the tutors are undergraduates, recruited through Team Up’s partnerships with universities in different areas of London.
The Trust has given Team Up a grant to assist with their Primary School programme, which aims to ensure that all pupils are up to standard before they move to their secondary school in Year 7.
